What we do:

Email. Phone intake interview. On-site full day visit with discussion of preliminary findings. Then a meeting to discuss your written action plan in depth teaching you how to enact it. We will have two virtual follow up meetings to answer your questions on the journey.

For on-site consultations, you can expect at least two hours of preparation prior to the visit. Plan to spend at least four hours (more is great) touring your operation with Dale and an assistant and an hour discussing on-sight initial findings. We will do things like an analysis of vegetation, water, soil needs and fertility, provision, fencing systems, animal integration, insect populations, pasture management, and seeding recommendations. What will be part of the process depends on your needs, the size of property, topography differences, and condition of the field sand pastures. Species composition will be assessed in relationship to your goals and If warranted, sap samples, or soil samples to evaluate pH and any fertility needs may be recommended. If relevant, Dale will take forage samples to evaluate quality and production, towards better pasture management. After the visit, consultants will spend on average of 8 hours developing your personalized written plan. While some findings will be discussed on sight, we will schedule virtual meeting to review you plan in-depth and teach you want to do We will check in with you at two later intervals by phone.
